Jaclyn Carey I Board Member
Jaclyn brings a diverse background in health, wellness, and business to the Humor to Fight the Tumor Board. She began her career in cardiac rehabilitation and later transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, where she developed deep expertise in healthcare solutions. After time at home raising her two daughters, Jaclyn joined her husband in commercial real estate, where she helped build a 55+ housing brand and led marketing and sales efforts.
Jaclyn’s connection to the brain tumor community is deeply personal. Her husband, Brian, was diagnosed with glioblastoma in 2015 and passed away in 2019. Since then, she has supported over 30 families facing a glioblastoma diagnosis and has been a passionate advocate for awareness and research. She and her daughters continue to support organizations including ABTA and Mayo Clinic’s brain tumor research efforts.
Jaclyn sees each day as a gift and is honored to use her voice, experience, and compassion to make a difference for families affected by brain tumors.
